Thank you for choosing Financially Up and we are delighted to have been appointed as your tax agent for tax purposes. We are committed to provide highest level of professional service while always doing our best to act in your interest. This documented article contains the terms and conditions. There needs to be agreement by both the parties in written format for any additional work. Your work will be commenced by us which
is subject to signing and accepting this agreement and returning to us via post, or email at [email protected] or signing through our website www.financiallyup.com.au.
• The range of work is as agreed. You will also be responsible for complying with the substantive provisions of the Income Tax Assessment Act.
• We will not be responsible for any kind of late lodgement fees or other fees that is bought about by your failure to act in a timely fashion. You are solely responsible for providing us all the required information when asked or needed in a timely fashion.
• The tax return of concern year will be made after analyzing, discussing important details with you, and making recommendations regarding your tax returns.
• We are not liable or responsible for any changes in the refund amount that is different from our recommendations/lodged and do not accept liability if the amount is also different from the
Australian Taxation Office as we are can only provide estimations.
• Our commitment and duty are to act in the best interest of our clients. However, this will be subject to any kind of overriding where we need to and is our duty to comply with the law which
is applicable even if that may require us to act in a manner that may be contrary to your discretions. As an example, to serve this, we won’t be able to lodge a tax return where we believe that the information is false in a material respect.
• Should the Supplier incur legal and/or any other expenses, including any such expenses to any collection agency, in obtaining, or attempting to obtain, payment for any amount due by the customer, the customer shall be liable for all such expenses (on a full indemnity basis). The customer acknowledges that the collection expenses may be calculated on a commission basis at a percentage rate of up to 30% of the amount due and expressly agrees to pay those expenses irrespective of the amount of work performed by the collection agency.
• We are a financial institution working in the financial sector. We are also associates of anaccounting body. Hence, we are subject to periodic Professional Quality Assurance and reviews. Unless otherwise specically advised, you as our client is consenting to your le being part of such a review. These reviews are not of you as our client but is a review of our client records and you will have full assurances that complete condentiality will be maintained throughout this process. We are obliged to also adhere to strict privacy policies.
• Financially Up gives you an assurance that your information will be kept private according to our Privacy Policy.
• Charges for our services may vary as advertised depending on the time length of your work.
Payment terms are subject to the invoice provided.

I,  confirm that I have been advised by Financially Up as to the requirement to demonstrate that expense(s) claimed in my tax return occurred for deductible purposes, together with satisfying
the SUBSTANTIATION legislation in relation to expenses mentioned in my tax return.

In addition, I have been informed by you of the need to OBTAIN ORIGINAL RECEIPTS, detailing the;
• Name of supplier • Date expense was incurred
• Type of goods / service purchased • Amount expressed in the currency it was incurred It has also been notified that it was necessary to preserve written evidence for the past five years. The Consequences and penalties for incomplete or inaccurate information provided by me have also been mentioned by Financially Up which will come about if I have provided  incomplete, inaccurate, incorrect, or misleading.

I have all the income tax and SUBSTANTIATION DOCUMENTS necessary to support all the claims made in my income tax return.
Wherever I have used any items for both business and private purposes, for e.g., Laptop, Car, Telephone/Mobile, Computer, etc., I inform that I have kept necessary appropriate documents to very my claims for the business usage. Moreover, I have instructed and guided you to prepare a tax return in relation to my specific need and the instructions provided. I also understand and have read the returns prepared specifically for me.I read and understood the returns prepared for me.
I ALSO DECLARE THAT
1. I have disclosed all my private income which I have earned corresponding to the financial year of which the tax return is made.
2. That all the income has been declared in the return.
3. All deductions and rebate claims contained in the report are based on my specific guidelines and needs.
4. At the meeting, Where I didn't have a receipt to substantiate the above claims, I have instructed you to prepare a report based on my specific instructions.
5. That you have clearly clarified to me what written evidence will be required during an audit and penalties that may be applicable if incorrect claims are identified or recognized.
EXECUTION
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties here to have executed this Agreement as of the day and year first above written.
